Look, it's Audrina! Not Audrina Patridge silly, I'm talking about the dress. This Lauren Conrad Audrina Dress ($90, originally $150), along with other great casual Cali-style clothes, are currently on sale for up to 40 percent off. These simple tops and dresses are perfect for a day at the beach and don't you want to support a celebrity designer?
This dress is very cute! I would love to have it! Lauren did a great job!
1No thanks. Not impressed by her designs.
2Of course I dont want to support that twit. And of course they're marked down, nobody's buying them.
3Ok, they only have the dress in a large, I'm a small, too bad.
4you can buy 4-5 of these dresses at charlotte rousse, wet seal, or foreverr 21 for the price of one sale lc dress. I don't want to support her. She has a new Benz and a los angeles home from MTV
5I just got a really cute white beach cover up type dress...very similar to this at the Gap for $20!
6yeah, I like the casual style of the dresses but I am not spending 90$ on a beach cover up, I think you can get the same thing at forever21 or H&M for $15 or $20. When I do spend 90+ on a piece of clothing it is for something that is unique and I can't find anywhere else, that's how I can justify it.
7um...i think they should be marked down waaaaay more than that. so boring and overpriced.
8No I don't want to support celebrity designers, full stop! I want to support actual designers, who spent years in college being broke but learning to be designers and then interned for more years, working for nothing but honing their craft, designers who know how to cut a pattern, who would be skilled enough to make their own garments from scratch if they had to.
I'm SICK of celebrity designers and i don't want to support some talentless rich chick just because MTV saw dollar signs over her name and decided to give her her own clothing range which so far has been boring, boring and, oh, did I mention boring?
9Yay! I am so glad everyone else sees how much her stuff looks like it came from Charlotte Russe... I like to buy cheap stuff that looks expensive, not expensive stuff that looks damn cheap! Sheesh.
Also, I can think of a million other people to "support" before people start throwing more $$ at this rich kid. Why not lend some financial/moral support to someone who's actually talented -- and actually might not succeed without the support of customers and fans?
10It's not that I don't want to support her, it's just that it doesn't make much sense to buy a dress that is so generic looking that you can pick an equivalent or a superior dress for a lot less. If her dresses were fabulous, I would have no problem buying her dresses. I also think what Kiki tee said is very valid, we need to support real art, not just the celebrity pushing it.
11anyways that dress is ugly.
Wasnt the whole drapey Greecian or Roman toga thing two years ago??
12Very cute dress, I hope the sale goes until next week.
13Count me in as yet another person who is not interested in expanding her coffers. She carries herself with an air of entitlement that I find very oft-putting. Her frocks are reminiscent of Barbie Fashion Designer CD.
14I don't care for this dress, but I love the Charlotte dress...still not sure I'd pay $145 for it though!
15They are ok dress that I would buy if they weren't as expensive, but as a lot of people say, I can buy similar dress as the one of her collection for way less.
16I agree with some of the other comments up...the dresses are cute but it's not like you couldn't find similar styles a million other places for much less. Speaking of celebrity designers, though, I do like a lot of the sytles from Carlos by Carlos Santana. In fact, I just bought a pair of his shoes the other day and they are cute! Unfortunately, most celebrities don't come up with anything original to add to fashion.
17that's still expensive
18I don't like it...if I did I would buy at full price!
19even if it was free i wouldn't want it, i wouldn't wear it and it would just take up space... Boring!
You go Kiki girl!!
20Rip off!
21Very cute dress, and if it was $19.99 i'd run and go get it!
