It's not very often that you get to raid a sale on stock that's just coming into a store... but that's the brilliant notion behind the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Don't expect clearance-house prices or anything, but there are definitely still good deals to be had - especially considering that Fall isn't even close to being here yet.

I am in total lust with this French Connection 'Mystify Me' Satin Shift Mini Dress, $100 (originally $158). The plum satin, the soft pleats - this cocktail party perfect dress just beckons me: "Fab, Fab, you know you want me...".

Nice dress. You should also check out www.dealplumber.com for some great deals on designer wear. i got a cute micael kors dress for a great deal almost 50% less than the original.

The color is beautiful, but I am not sure about the dress. I went to the sale on Friday and it was pact. They have a lot of good stuff. :)

It has a nice design but something in the way it's sewn---I dunno , maybe it was reallymeant to be that way. It looks like it was badly sewn especially at the hem.
