Best Actress nominee Ellen Page is so darn cute. If she was going to wear black I wish it would have been my Marc Jacobs pick instead of this vintage Jean Louis Scherrer. Oh well. What do you think?

i get the whole "screw the establishment i'm too indie for this" thing aaand i love her. But seriously, I don't know about her but i am tired of her being the butt of every red carpet joke and comments like "hmm, i wonder if ellen page will wear converse, or something black, or BOTH". SO, I have to say, Dear Ellen, get a stylist that totally rocks and will be able to capture your cute indie awesomeness but put you into outfits that won't make you a pun.

I like it ... It's simple and cute. Maybe a little touch of something in the accessory would have been great but that's better than something too crazy and inappropriate.

i love it - i think that it suits her. i saw her on the barbara walters special right before and she said that everyone thinks that she's anti-hollywood and that's not the case. i think that she looks glam - without being over the top like a lot of other people are. we forget that she's 21 - and most other celebs at her age go 'balls to the wall' with crazy dresses
