Yves Saint Laurent is Kate Winslet's fashion obsession tonight; she wore a gown and shoes by the house. The dress is modern — one-shouldered, silky, and multi-textured. Fabulous. Her large diamond earrings are equally dramatic. What's your take?

Amazing and timeless and classic look. I like the looks that will look amazing years from now in photographs and this will. Love the dress and hair really brings out her gorgeous facial features. Come on people this is what Grace Kelly would have worn in the 50s. It's classic hollywood. Best of the night.

She's looked great all awards season until this point. The shiney satin material with a lace overlay is soooo fug and dated that not even the fit and the style of the dress can save this look!

Kate's dresses this awards season have been so great, I have to say I'm a little disappointed by this one though. Love her hair however.

i love her, but i don't love this dress at all. i was waiting to see her walk the red carpet the entire time, and i was soooo disappointed. she usually looks so great in her gowns, but this time it really didnt work. i am so glad she won though!

I can't hate anything that Kate wears, but I don't love this. The black lace looks like it's growing around the dress in an unflattering way. I hate bits that look stuck on for the sake of being stuck on.

I adore Kate and her red carpet style, and I wanted so much for her to blow everyone away on her night -- but when I saw this dress, I was disappointed. She is so gorgeous that I think she could wear a trash bag and still look stunning, but I just didn't like this one and it made me very sad.
