Oscars Red Carpet: Meryl Streep

Off-shoulder is the direction Meryl Streep took tonight. Note her gray dress has a long chiffon train and draped bodice — lovely touches. A metallic clutch and simple jewels take her look up a notch. You approve?

I don't know, it's missing something. It's a great cut and very flattering on her. Hate her hair.

I was undecided. I think she could have worn something of a necklace and more makeup. I adore her though, and I wish she would have won.I'd like to see Kate Winslet go from Mama Mia to Doubt. I don't think Kate has that range.

I agree with those who say she should have worn some more colour on her face - with those flashes she looks washed out.

She is so beautiful, BUT this dress makes her look like she tore the inside of a coffin out and is ready to answer the door at halloween, completely washes her out...its drab

I'm sorry to say that this gray looks awful to her skin complexion , and i also think that her hair are also strangely frizzy. in a plus i like the neckline.

hmm, i'm in the minority it seems...i don't really care for this look. the neckline is flattering, but i don't like the color. her makeup does little to enhance her look; it needs more pop.

This is one of her only looks I have ever liked. I know she is older, but she is still gorgeous -- and in my opinion, she goes out of her way not to be. I'm glad she's embracing it.
