Penelope is no stranger to princess gowns. Tonight, she chose to make her entrance in a voluminous ivory sweetheart vintage Balmain dress with lace detailing — it is sixty years old, mind you. A simple diamond necklace, bracelet, and earrings add minor shine. Do you love or hate Penelope in this?

Lace and Tulle? really....It's one thing to have a lot of dress going and make it work like Marisa Tomei but Miss Cruz's dress doesn't come close....Bridal not Oscar!

I love the dress and the story behind it. And her jewlery, I *heart* her jewlery. She looks great.

This looks so unsophisticated to me, like a southern pageant or prom dress. It's also not very flattering on her-making her boobs look small and her lower stomach poochie.

I voted undecided because I can't argue that the dess is absolutely beautiful, but it is just a little too bridal for my taste... unless of course she was getting married and not going to the Oscars... but that may just be me :-)
