Oscars Red Carpet: Saoirse Ronan

Looks like best supporting actress nominee Saoirse Ronan is channeling Keira's emerald Atonement dress for the Oscars red carpet with her own green Alberta Ferretti number. Does it measure up?

I think it looks great. Perfect for her age and the color is lovely. A lot of people think that younger girls should wear shorter dresses (3/4 length), but personally I think that the full length dress looks stunning on her - it doesn't make her look older.

The dress is very pretty, and she's only 13, you shouldn't expect her to have a stylist/makeup artist.

I just want to say, I think it's a little inappropriate to put a 13 year old on the love it or hate it polls. This is just a child. It's hard enough being 13 without having people constantly speculating on or judging your appearance. I'm not crazy about the polls for the grown women. I really don't like doing one on a little girl.

The color has nothing to do with Keira Knightley's one. However, except there's something strange with the length, I think she made a good choice, very appropriate for her age. She dares something less simple than something like Ellen Page's style but it does the job.

I agree with ajah ... I mean this is a 13 year old kid, she's probably in the 7th or 8th grade. no need to pick her apart. she looks cute, the green brings out her eyes.

I like the color on her and at least she looks her age, unlike other teenage stars, but she could have let her hair down and a longer hem-line couldn't hurt.

i think she looks lovely! she's a kid, i can't believe people would really dissect her look so much. i think it's very different to analyze an adult's style, but i remember how i felt when i was 13 - totally self-conscious about everything. i think a reasonable adult can shrug off opinions, but kids are a bit more sensitive. i think it would hurt if people were talking about my hair and my makeup and my hem. then again, i wasn't even allowed to wear makeup when i was 13.

The hair ruins it for me. The dress is nice, and like everyone else said, age appropriate, but that hair..Very pretty girl though, and yeah i think she looks thin, but my own almost ten year old is thin and tall, and I feed her constantly. I think it's the age and genetics

I loved that dress on Saoirse but they should've done something different for her hair.
