Oscars Red Carpet: Tilda Swinton

Tilda Swinton blew onto the red carpet looking avant-garde, this time in a sand-toned, draped blouse paired with a sleek, black, sweeping skirt, both by Lanvin. Dark lips add a touch of color, and heavy bangles complete the look. Her ensemble isn't the most flattering but it does complement her offbeat personality. What do you think?

tilda has her own unique style. Why does it matter so much to people if ____ looked bad and____ looked fabulous. I like her, as for her outfit ( why does it matter?), because she is a brave person who's not afraid to stand out in a crowd. She does her own thing... GO TILDA!!!

I will say that this is interesting. I like how she chose a nude color for the top to go with the black and I also like how the front of the skirt is ruffled, and I do think the top goes with the skirt quite well. The only thing I would change would be have the top or the skirt be a little bit tigher to show off some of her curves.

I love the style and the boldness of it and I also think the blouse would look awesome with skinny dark jeans or a black pencil skirt.

I like the dress on her, but her head needs some fixing. Her hair cut is terrible, how do you make that bad cut into a nice hairdo, and her eyes need more definition.

It's Tilda freaking Swinton what do you exspect. I actually like it although it's not a "typical" dress it drapes her beautifully!

I find the cut fantastic, and it's totally herself. The only thing that gets my nerves is the combo of the black -beige colour, witch makes me put the undecided vote.!

I love her and her style. I don't love this outfit though even for her. I just enjoy when clothes fit.

LOVE this dress. Best of the night in my opinion. She looks so fashion forward and makes everyone else look boring... like they were too scared to end up on a worst dressed list. Go Tilda!
