Oscars Red Carpet Trend: The Architects
Bold leading ladies showed up last night in long dresses that balanced sharp architectural lines - both horizontal and vertical - along the top and midsection with soft sweeping trains. Cameron's white Valentino was a bold move, as was Gwyneth's Zac Posen art deco gown; I love Queen Latifah but didn't think those horizontal lines were the most flattering!
