On Our Radar: Whitney Port's Eve & A Collection

Whitney Port is becoming the third The Hills star to launch a clothing line, following after The Lauren Conrad Collection and Heidi Montag's Heidiwood.

Whitney's focus is on her new contemporary line Eve & A, which will launch with 17 pieces of party-worthy dresses, tops, and jackets in the Fall. She is designing the clothing with the help of co-creative director Adrienne Baravetto, and is backed by her father Jeff Port, who owns an apparel company. I think this collection promises to be the most successful out of the three.

I think Whitney has the best style on the show and her passion for design seems more authentic than either Lauren or Heidi (who seem more about the recognition). That said, I hope she stays in touch with her fan base and sets prices accordingly- something Lauren definitely didn't do.

you guys do realize that Whitney has a degree in faashion. i mean, this is what she went to school for. she's SUPPOSE to be starting a clothing line. Lauren as well. (although i'm not a Lauren fan) i fell for whitney (i guess Lauren too), because they have this stigma on them for doing the Hills. no one wants to take them seriously. it's hard enough in the fashion industry (i should know, i work in it), but if there is focus and a solid plan, then Whitney will be fine.

Ignoring her funny facial expressions on The Hills,Whitney do have a great sense of style...Afterall she was an fashion contributor to Teen Vogue, I'm sure she knows her stuff more than any other celebrity designers.

I am looking forward to Whitney collection but I think it will like Lauren simple basic clothes that people can make their own because that is really the hills girls philosophy. She might use more print or brighter colors, but from a design perspective it will be very much like lauren classic pieces with some trends.

I like Whitney's style the most out of the girls, she's always so beautiful and unique. I hope her collection channels her style. I can't wait to see it, and like hellosunshine said, "I just hope it's affordable!"...because I'm a broke college student, I don't have much money to spend on clothes.

I absolutely love Whitney's style the most, although lately I have to give some props to Audrina. I'm super excited about her line. I just hope it's affordable! Lauren, for a girl that's in fashion school and had an internship at Teen Vogue, I'd figure she would come up with some amazing stuff, but they are so plain and overpriced! Don't get me wrong though, I like Lauren too! Heidi...straight up trash clothes...wouldn't catch me in that. Again, as for Whitney she's my fave and I do think she stands out the most, style wise in the Hills. Oh damn am I preaching! I guess I'm a little fed up with all these lame Hills' fashion lines....

Her style is the most fashion forward of the three, therefore her collection will probably be the most successful. I was not aware of Heidiwood, juniors wearing Heidi's creations? What a tragedy :(
