Pamela Love Spring 2012 Jewelry

For me it's not just about the jewelry, it's about telling the story of the jewelry. And you know the world around the jewelry girl who wears that jewelry. I have a collaboration coming up with style that I'm really excited about and I hope that everybody else is excited about it too. I think we're going to try to make it really fun and carefree and play with new colors and new. Finishes and just kind of have fun with it. I think for me a lot of my inspiration comes from throughout the world and throughout history. really a lot of these shapes are really traditional. We just sort of turned them on their side or turned them upside down, it's all about the jewelry. I never think what jewelry is going to look good with this outfit, I'm always like what outfits are going to look good with all the jewelry I just put on. Every woman should have one Necklace that they just never take off. Just a simple personal piece that they layer with other pieces and they just always wear. I definitely think that first time I was nominated for the DFDA about fashion fund was a special moment. To be up for it another year, the second time in a row, is really wonderful. I feel like I'm designing things that people will wear every season and hold on to forever and keep with them and you know I've always been interested in fashion and clothing and accessories but there's just something about jewelry. It's more meaningful.
