Lots of cosmetics companies are making adorable pink products to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October. But the always-reliable Pantene haircare brand is helping the cancer-research cause year-round. In July, it launched the Beautiful Lengths campaign, when spokeswoman Diane Lane chopped off her locks live on the Today Show. Now, through a partnership with the Entertainment Industry Foundation, Pantene is encouraging women to grow out their hair and donate it, so that it can be used to make wigs for cancer survivors. The hair company also donated an impressive $1 million to the EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund, which supports research and helps women suffering from cancer.
