Paris Fashion Week Spring 2008, Vivienne Westwood: Love It or Hate It?

It's floaty, flirty, and not what I would have expected from the queen of punk rock fashion herself, Dame Vivienne Westwood. The rest of the collection is very Vivienne, but this one look reminded me of the little ditty "One of these things is not like the other..."

The print goes along with the ethnic trend we've been seeing, and the asymmetrical pleating adds a tinge of Dior-drama. I'm on the fence...what about you?

I love Vivien Westwood, so I love this. And I like how she made something so pretty and feminine, but still stayed true to herself and put in a little punk rock...

i love the dress except for the drapey part on her left shoulder, i would cut that off or something along those lines..

I love how she makes extravagant garments look so fashionable. It's not atrocious... It's high fashion!

I sort of like it. I love the bodice and the colors but maybe too many drapes.

I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. I like it. I sometimes feel that everything Vivienne Westwood does is a bit too Vivienne Westwood, if you know what I mean, so it's nice t see something that has some of the Westwood trademark features but at the same time is a little different.
