InStyle magazine sure knows how to throw a party. This week at its Summer Soiree party in LA, celebs toasted the night wearing their best cocktail gear. Here are my favorite looks: Ashlee Simpson in a champagne-colored Jill Stuart playsuit; Jordana Brewster in gold Reem Acra; Jessica Stroup in a chic LBD; Katie Cassidy in Balenciaga; and Eliza Dushku in sexy Herve Leger. Each hottie oozed playfulness in her own sassy way — which one is your fave?

All girls are amazing, exept Ashlee. She's terrible. Others girls very pretty, especially Jordana & Jessica. Uhhhh. They're amazing!!!

Ashlee but I think they all look really pretty. Something is off for me on Jordana's dress though..like the "belt" is too low or something.

Ashlee looks like she's trying way to hard- perhaps to outshine the sister? and prove to the world she can still be hot post pregnancy? Frankily, I'm done with the red hair already! but her body is definitely great despite the bland colored romper. isn't she supposed to be punk anyways? where's the edge?

While I do think that color washes Ashlee out, I love the color of the jumper and the pairing with the pearls and pastel heels. She nabbed my vote!

Jessica Stroup looks amazing! I think they all nailed it with the exception of Jordana Brewster, actually.

I do like how ELiza stepped out of her comfort zone, and her dress is fabulous; and I actually like Katie's dress the best; but I don't like either of their shoes. Jessica is the best whole package; she is so beautiful and youthful yet sophisticated; I love the classic-with-a-twist black pumps the best...
