Leighton Meester in Bedazzled Preen: Love It or Hate It?

Leighton Meester has been known to push the fashion envelope every so often, so when we spotted her wearing this unique Preen dress at the Nylon Mexico launch party we had to dish. Her bedazzled LBD has an interesting mesh overlay and corset-like panel running across the chest. For adornments, the Gossip Girl chose a multi-colored bracelet by House of Lavande, a stingray barrel clutch by Cecelia, and a pair of strappy black sandals. Her ensemble is daring: do you love it or hate it?

I really hate the bottom. If the mesh over lay stopped where the black dress did it wouldn't be as bad.

I don't exactly like it, but I don't hate it either. Maybe it's because I'm biased. I love this girl -- she can do no wrong in my eyes.

It's a little too much if you ask me. Lines at the top of the dress and the bottom and then the lines on the shoe. Too distracting

I've never been a fan of clothing with sheer/mesh sections and her heels look cheap, like they came from a swap meet.

I think she might have pulled the dress off with different accessories with very simple lines -- and maybe some color. As it is, it looks like this wild black mass, even though each item is decent in its own right.
