When asked who my fashion icons are, I always list Carrie Bradshaw, from Sex and the City. Costume designer Patricia Field and Sarah Jessica Parker created such an inventive stylesetter. But as I look back at the actress who played my so-called fashion icon, it all makes sense. SJP always had a cool, creative, colorful style, setting her apart from the rest. Her style perfectly meshed with Carrie, thus leading to an eclectic, ultra stylish persona. And she loves her accessories! As the new leader of Halston, and with a blockbuster sequel in the works, 2010 is going to be an epic year for the totally lovable, always smiling SJP. But today, let's wish her a happy birthday!
so fun!

Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now. Keep it up!
And according to this article, I tottaly agree with your opinion!
This is cool!
7am I the only person who isn't in love with SJP??! she is a terrible actress, an awfully tacky dresser, and (t0 be frank) quite ugly. I know that is so mean to say but, in an industry that supposedly banks on good looks and talent, I just don't understand why she is considered this beautiful, great actress (when she is neither). Even more so; her fashion is also horrible; I think going through these images proves as such - just because she takes risks does not make her taste level good or fashionable (which it is not). I really don't mean to be a b*tch; and I have nothing against her personally; I just feel like people blindly love her because she represents this iconic character (as well as an icon of fashion). I guess I don't like her because she takes advantage of this strange phenomenon...
8I agree lizlee! I have never understood why she was considered a fashion icon...or beautiful as a matter of fact.
9Well done is better than well said.
10Lovingly done is sick than well said.
