For his Spring '10 runway show at Paris Fashion Week, Giles Deacon delivered a colorful and quirky collection filled with prom-inspired dresses, metallic pants, and see-through gowns. However, it was the abundance of creepy, crawly spiders that induced my fear. Indeed, I suffer from slight arachnophobia (although I guess I don't mind daddy longlegs, they eat other bugs, right?). And so, I don't understand why anyone would want to have a furry, eight-legged creature hanging off her chest. Maybe there are some fashionphiles out there that share Giles's love for spiders, just not me. Freaky or fabulous?

I like the spider t shirt and I HATE spiders. It's different and i like that.
1They're kind of cool in the skirt fabric and printed on the shirt, but the black ones tacked onto the cleavage just look stupid.
2Eeeew no! but I admit I'm not being objective on that one as spiders are my biggest phobia. :S
3I am terrified of spiders. PLEASE tell me the ones on the models are not real...

5If spiders did not exist on any of these outfits I would say fabulous but ughhhh i HATE HATE HATE HATE spiders so... sorry Giles it is freaky.
6I think it's fun, but definately not for everyone. I like the metallic sheen, also the spider tee and skirt is fun, but the brooches are too costume-ish for me.

8I hate spiders....omg, I got freaked just looking at the pictures! The model on the left looks okay with the critter, but the one on the right looks like she can't breathe. Scared? Eek.

10i have a spider necklace my husband bought for my birthday one year. I always get compliments on it.
