Banana Republic is giving me something to look forward to come Spring. Honing in its love for polished sportswear, the retailer sent models down the runway in a fresh collection of denim, chambray shirts, silk tops, moto jackets, refined shorts, classic trenches, and slick chinos. "We’re still a work brand, but we want to have great weekend and going-out clothes, too," said Banana Republic's president, Jack Calhoun. And that they did providing us with neutral-tailored separates along with colorful, silky splashes. I especially love this seafoam silk tunic dress — so luxuriously simple.
While shorts and skirts dominated the runway, cropped pants also played a key role in the storyline. Clean-cut chinos and jeans were cut right above the ankle for a refreshing, chic look. On the accessories front, I adored the straw fedoras and leather-mule sandals. Affordable and amazing — just the way I like it.

fresh and comfy...LOVE it!
1I love this new collection! So glad they are incorporating clothes that will fit most women's style. Good job!
2I fell in love with this Fall 08' black and grey striped peacoat sweater from BR. It's, of course, out of stock now but I was wondering does anyone know where to find out of stock or previous season's merchandise from stores like BR? I feel as though I'm shooting in the dark, but it can't hurt to ask.
3Nice collection, but wish I knew the price ranges.
4I cannot find the leather slingback sandals that some of the women wore for the Spring 2010 Banana Republic Collection. If BR does not sell them then where can I get them?
