Seriously, if you flip through these pics of Crystal Renn posing for Jimmy Choo's latest Spring/Summer '11 ad campaign and go straight to the accessories, you're kind of missing the point. Sure, when they crop out the rest of her and leave only a pair of pretty Choo platforms, I'm left staring at the designer's handiwork, but mostly I'm just in awe of how the glamazon looks in them. A standout on high-fashion runways all of last year, I'm suggesting we start focusing less on her size. There's no point in defining it — bottom line: she's just captivating. Why are some people getting hung up on the phrase "her size"? The reason her size is mentioned is because that's been the main talking point of her career. And to Anonymous #2: Crystal was called plus-sized becaues she WAS plus-sized. She used to be a lot heavier and has only recently lost weight. And no, 90% of women aren't "curvy". Most women are normal-looking (if they aren't fat, that is). The word "curvy" implies having more fat on the hips and breasts than most women. And no, having hips doesn't make one curvy. Having FAT around the hips (while simultaneously having a small waist) makes one curvy.

@onlysour yeah, the number gets smaller year by year, at one point a thought an 8 was "plus" now, with size 0 being the standard, who knows...

Someone yelled at me on a board a while ago when I said that a 4 or 6 was plus sized in the modeling world. I wasn't making it up...

huh??? her size? SERIOUSLY? yeah, what's her size in these pics, maybe S(mall)?? come on, she looks like any other model, what's so special about this?! ohhh how i hate it when women that have a perfectly flat belly, slim figure, are called PLUS SIZE by the media. something like "she's curvy and proud of it" - sorry, but 90% of all women are curvy. it's called HIPS. XXXS models are NOT the average and i feel so sorry for young women today who get the wrong ideals through magazine ads and articles like this. the woman in this ad is a normal model to me, no plus size. if her name wasn't in the article i think i wouldn't have gotten the point of it...

She looks amazing! Love the shapes and poses she does in these images. Crystal is amazing at any size who cares if she is thinner.

She is a beautiful woman. That is nice to see. Most models today are shall we say less tan stellar. Heavy, slim, it's just nice to see beautiful.

her size? are you kidding? i didn't even realize she was a "plus size" model-- or anything other than just... a regular model until you even mentioned it. Renn is either losing the thing that made her famous or these advertising editors are very shamelessly heavy handed with the photoshopping. great bags/accessories, though?
