For years, we've been led to believe that the ultimate in color sophistication was a deep, dark black. Whether for work, an interview, or a first date, nearly every serious occasion you'd encounter in adulthood could be met with an LBD. Switch in bubblegum pink for noir? Puh-lease.
And then we saw not one but two chic images from this weekend, and we had a major change of heart. Both Emma Watson and Zoe Levin made the color look fresh and officially grown-up. Inspired, we went searching for similar styles that we could count on for the upcoming season of weddings, graduation parties, and Spring date nights. Scroll down for a look at both women's dresses and the finds that we're seriously considering buying.

Emma Watson in Pink at the Tribeca Film Festival
For the premiere of Boulevard at New York's chicest film fest, the actress picked a silk top and jacquard skirt from Narciso Rodriguez 's Spring 2014 collection and Stuart Weitzman sandals. Done in the same fabric, the different hues might feel wrong paired together; with silk against something rougher, it felt obviously purposeful.
Zoe Levin in Pink at the Tribeca Film Festival
Zoe skipped the two-piece set in favor of a prim, 3/4-sleeve lace dress at the festival while promoting Beneath the Harvest Sky. The bright coral might have read as more juvenile if she picked a trendy shape, but the classic cut ensured it had a timeless vibe to it. She finished the sophisticated look with a gold clutch and Stuart Weitzman sandals.
