Maid-of-honor Pippa Middleton's ivory Alexander McQueen gown looks strikingly similar to the red Alexander McQueen dress Cameron Diaz wore to the 2010 Golden Globes. The silhouettes are almost identical, which could mean they created a custom version for Pippa based on the archived style. Pippa's sister Kate chose an Alexander McQueen dress for her marriage to Prince William. It looks to be a big day for British design house Alexander McQueen as well!

The maid of honor often wears white in Britain. It is also customary to have children as Kate did. I thought the wedding was wonderful. No one can outshine the bride. Her dress was reminiscent of Grace Kelly's dress at her marriage to Prince Rainier. They both are elegant and beautiful.

It's traditional in English royal weddings for the bridesmaids to wear white.

the bridesmaids are meant to wear white, it got something to do with superstition, it they don't its meant to be bad luck!

I agree with Aeryn. I like Pippa's dress better than Kate. Kate's dress was simple elegance but kinda plain.

I love Pippa's dress. The dress worked very well with her figure. My mum made the same comment though about the dress looking like Cameron's.

Wonder if this was a dress Kate tried on for the wedding and loved, because it does seem a little bit off that her sister wore white to the wedding, right?
