When Pippa Gets Engaged, Here's How to Top Her Bridesmaid Dress

Dec 18 2013 - 7:30am

Spoiler alert: we already know Pippa [1] Middleton looks gorgeous in a white gown — but the next time she wears one down the aisle, it might well be at her own wedding [2] to Nico Jackson. Rumors swirled that the couple is reportedly engaged [3], but with no confirmation, it gives us plenty of time to start fantasy wedding dress shopping — well virtually, anyway.

Her showstopping Alexander McQueen [4] dress at the royal wedding [5] in 2011 set the bar high for her own wedding dress style, but we have a feeling she'll have no problem living up to the hype. In the meantime, we got a head start with three options that would be perfect for the bride-to-be. See all the dresses, and let us know which one you think would suit Pippa best once she's officially engaged.

As maid of honor at sister Kate Middleton's wedding [6], Pippa [7] made quite an impression on the world in her Alexander McQueen [8] dress.

. . . Maybe this is a more memorable view?

Why mess with a good thing? For Pippa [9]'s own nuptials, we could see her slipping into another body-skimming cowl-neck gown to show off that famous figure. And if she were looking to re-create the same effect, why not reach for another McQueen gown, like this one [10].

Of course, if she were to change it up, we could easily see the lovely Pippa [11] in something sweet, like this gown from the Jenny Packham [12] Fall 2014 collection.

And if Pippa [13] wanted something sexier, the plunging neckline on this Oscar de la Renta [14] Spring 2014 dress would do the trick, while the silhouette remains true to that now-famous maid of honor gown.
