who are "all these people" criticizing this company? looking at the comments, there is only one which might be construed as negative about plus-sized women wearing things like these - and even that one might just be about the pieces in general. you guys overreact; I think people were saying that it is disgusting to wear stuff like this as Halloween costumes - if women, plus-sized or not, want to be respected, maybe they should stop dressing like cheap whores outside of the house...

These costumes are great for whenever you want to dress up - whether for Halloween or role playing in the bedroom. I love getting dressed up for Halloween because it's the one time I have permission to be playful and walk around as another persona, and as outrageously as I dare. For those of you who think the costumes featured here are too outrageous, remember that H&C has lots of mix and match pieces, too, so you can create a costume that's as revealing as you want. Oh, they have that beautiful long skirt, and a really great floor-length cape! You should visit the link and see what else they have. I ordered one of their "Jet Setter" costumes and am anxiously waiting for it to arrive so I can wear it with my blonde wig and walk into a party all sassy and sexy!! And yes, I'm 50 years old, wear a size 1X, love wearing fancy underwear and sexy clothing -- and plan on taking someone special home that night!

I mean once you're past the age of trick or treating then you might as well flaunt what ya got, what's the point of dressing up if you're not sexy?
I dig my big girls. But I love beautiful women of any shape and size. And these costumes are perfect for a curvy body. Ladies, we men really don't care what size you are. We really just want a woman to be confident enough to wear something like that and be the sexy momma that you are!!!
Curvy girls can get a man too! We have a right to feel sexy just as much as anyone else.
Wickedly nice outfits. Love them! To all you guys out there hating on the thick chicks, you don't know what you are missing!! And the rail thin females, yall seen like you are jealous to me. I say thick chicks need to ROCK THEM CURVES!!! These outfits can definitely help you do it!!!
If the average woman is a size 14, then why so many negative posts? I'm 5' 10" (without heels) and in my adulthood I've been anywhere between a size 8 to 22. I'm sexy no matter what size I am. Any doubters out there? I could care less. Either way, I'm gorgeous inside and out. PS - Hips & Curves sells really well-made sexy lingerie....better than Secret's hands down !!
I have several of the Hips and Curves corsets.....and let me tell you, I get all sorts of positive comments when I wear them. Under a jacket or one their own with jeans....the guys LOVE it. I've never had anything but an extremely positive reaction. If you don't like it, don't look. But do NOT tell someone else how to look or feel. There are gorgeous women of all sizes. One of the most gorgeous gals I know is very curvy....and she competes in triathalons.
I don't care if you are size 24 or a size 4, all of us want to feel gorgeous when we dress sexy (for Halloween, or anytime). These outfits look HOT, and I think Hips and Curves does a lot for helping women feel beautiful.
Dont like it dont look.... Curvy girls are here to stay! And just to let all the negative people know just becuase you have curves doesnt make you fat nor overweight
These costumes are GORGEOUS, and the models look GREAT! Why would ANYONE want to be with someone that looks like Olive Oyl? Curves are where it's at!

Isn't this exactly what you're complaining about?! Skinny women are insulting curvy women so you stoop to the same level? Seriously girls, if you don't want to be picked on, don't pick on them either. It's hypocritical. Do you /want/ to be a hypocrite?

love these costumes and all that hipsandcurves has to offer. these models look hot! as a large woman (a healthy one at that), I'm glad to know that i can find sexy, feminine. glad to see these real women. i'm really getting tired of seeing the ultra-thin girls that look like mannequins. This is why so many men are ridiculed for loving bigger women, because of closeminded negative skinny people that are under the impression that they are the only body type that is desirable and sexy. All the haters out there need to grow the hell up, and be happy with themselves instead of being rude to others just for the sake of making themselves look and feel better.

Wow, I'm a little surprised by the negative comments. Not everyone is a size zero and bigger girls want to feel sexy too. These ladies are beautiful and I love everything I've ever gotten from Hips and Curves (my costume this year is the Queen of Hearts).
These are great costumes! Those models look healthy and HOT!
I love Hips n Curves and I brought the ringmaster costume. There is NOTHING wrong with these costumes or a plus size female wanting to be sexy. Some people need to grow up.
