This week, we got another stylish glimpse into the lives of some of our favorite chic celebrities through social media. Models like Chanel Iman, Miranda Kerr, and Chrissy Teigen enjoyed downtime with friends and family, while Karlie Kloss and Cara Delevingne kept on trucking through to London Fashion Week. Bar Refaeli showed off her latest magazine cover, and Coco Rocha rocked a colorblocked look (including a cool monogrammed clutch). Emmy Rossum picked up a festive piñata during a press trip to Mexico City, and fellow actresses Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson shared their red-carpet snaps while promoting Spring Breakers in Paris.
This week, celebrities made the case for ditching red lipstick in favor of a more shocking orange. Even though the season lends itself to more moody hues, these ladies prove there is room for brights year-round. Coco Rocha tried out a carrot color on her lips paired with a sleek cat eyeliner, while Poppy Delevingne wore a neon tangerine lipstick to pick up the bright design in her sequined top. Emma Stone wore a red-orange lip hue, which brought warmth to her fair complexion and blond updo. Whose lip color do you like best for a mid-Winter pick-me-up?
Plenty of celebrities flocked to the fashionable fun of this year's New York Fashion Week. Miley Cyrus showed off her abs in a crop top at the Marc Jacobs show, while Olivia Wilde and Jessica Chastain sat front row to take in the Calvin Klein collection. Elizabeth Olsen and Liv Tyler linked up at Proenza Schouler, and Zoe Saldana took a seat next to Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith for Michael Kors.

Thank goodness Poppy and Cara Delevingne are so comfortable in front of the camera. Both sisters are the stars of new videos that might be the most provocative clips we've seen so far this year.
Poppy, the budding actress, is the protagonist in an ever-so-slightly NSFW short for Agent Provocateur called "Valentine's Night." She gets locked outside of her home in nothing but lingerie after her screeching cat sets off her car alarm. She then seductively asks a stranger for some assistance finding the poor lost feline.
Meanwhile, Cara seems to have found the cat Poppy was looking for and uses it as a prop while lip-synching Shania Twain's "That Don't Impress Me Much" in a bustier for Love magazine. She looks plenty confident, but would her occasional glances at cue cards be more endearing if she weren't wearing that black eye mask?
While we're always loyal to our veteran fashion girls — Diane Kruger, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Alexa Chung, to name a few — 2012 brought a whole new exciting crop of style stars whose fashion sense we just couldn't get enough of. British model Poppy Delevingne perfected the marriage between sophisticated and youthful dressing (and she always makes the demure hemline look so damn cool). Speaking of perfecting things, Solange Knowles is a pro at mixing prints and she did it ever so fabulously time after time this year. Nina Dobrev wasn't afraid to take risks on the red carpet — so she always stood out from the pack — plus, have you seen those mile-long legs? Ashley Madekwe was another star that made her mark in fashion this year. Not only does she have her own personal style blog, but she makes both day and night dressing look equally and insanely effortless. And finally, Allison Williams captured our attention with her bold dress choices, and her megawatt smile — not to mention her breakout role on our new TV obsession Girls. Now that you know a little bit about the fabulous nominees for breakout star of the year, it's time to cast your vote below.
Arizona Muse, Carey Mulligan, Poppy Delevingne, Teresa Missoni, and Waris Ahluwalia were among those who made the trek to Switzerland this past weekend for ASMALLWORLD's third annual Winter Weekend getaway. And though it may have been frosty on the slopes outside the Gstaad Palace Hotel where the weekend's festivities took place, there was plenty on the docket to keep guests toasty.
On Friday evening, the crowd kicked off the fun with a champagne cocktail and diamond hunt. The big winner of the evening was Tali Lennox, who, clad in a two-toned leopard-print minidress, ended up winning the grand prize: a glittering pair of Bucherer diamond hoops. The next day it was off to the lifts, where Jessica Joffe and Lily Kwong showed off their best cold-weather getups (no puffy snowsuits here) while Muse frolicked with son Nikko in the snow before joining the rest of the crew for a fondue feast.
And that wasn't all. Saturday evening's black-tie charity gala hosted by Mulligan had everyone from Harley Viera-Newton to Harvey Weinstein in high spirits — especially when singer Alysha Umphress took to the stage for a surprise performance.
Highlights from the weekend, here in the slideshow.
In support of the Alzheimer’s Society, the fashion pack flew to Switzerland for the ASMALLWORLD gala dinner looking every bit the stylish, jet-setting crew that they are. To toast the evening, Poppy Delevingne shimmered in a green sequined minidress paired with black booties, while Carey Mulligan showed off her sweet style in a lacy black and silver confection by Valentino. Supermodel Arizona Muse made an appearance in a gorgeous fit-and-flare Stella McCartney dress, finished in brilliantly hued embroidery, and Harley Viera-Newton arrived in an elegant navy blue lace gown. Four gorgeous style setters, four equally chic looks — but which one gets your best-dressed vote?
When the Winter chill zaps out all of your styling inspiration, look no further than Poppy Delevingne for an instant pick-me-up. The jet-setting beauty was in Scotland for Chanel's Métiers d'Art collection Pre-Fall runway show — her gorgeous sister Cara walked the runway — looking sleek as ever in her Chanel (of course!) cold-weather getup. For an outfit that's both functional and chic, Poppy paired her long Chanel tweed coat with a luxuriously cozy fur cossack and lace-up boots. A gold embellished dress peeks underneath her warm outerwear, while a blue quilted Chanel clutch and fur lined leather gloves complete her look. It's easy to re-create this look for your next holiday party outing; just top off your party dress with a long Winter coat and tack on the stunning accessories — don't forget the bright red lip. Anna Wintour's townhouse in the West Village lost power during Hurricane Sandy, so she — and a number of other industry types who live in lower Manhattan — headed uptown for safety at one of two upscale hotels.
Wintour reportedly ended up at The Mark, a five-star hotel on 77th Street at Madison Avenue. Carine Roitfeld and her son Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld are also there, as are Marc Jacobs and Helena Christensen. Hotelier André Balazs was spotted dining at the hotel's restaurant.
The Carlyle hotel, just a block away at 76th and Madison, is the temporary home of Grace Coddington, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Olsen's boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy. According to Derek Blasberg, he's also holed up at The Carlyle with Karlie Kloss, Lily Donaldson, and Poppy Delevingne.
While the close proximity of some of the most influential people in the industry might simply be a matter of coincidence, the hotels they're staying in do have places in fashion history. Vera Wang's first boutique, opened in 1990, is located on the ground floor of The Carlyle. Meanwhile, The Mark is a popular place for celebrities to get ready for the Met Gala, as it's conveniently located not far from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
And what of those who didn't head to hotels? Mickey Boardman is staying with his friend Marjorie Gubelmann and Garance Doré headed to an unspecified "uptown camp" so she could keep her site running. Nicola Formichetti bucked the trend and traveled south to Williamsburg, where he found "power, lights, food and Internet!"
