Prada Fringe Gunmetal Thong Sandal: Love It or Hate It?

I adore the gunmetal color of these Prada Fringe Gunmetal Thong Sandals, $475, but that's just about all I like about it. The fringe is utterly distracting and the fact that it's on a thong sandal makes the situation worse! Plus, thongs with heels are uncomfortable to walk in. What's your take?

I actually really like them, even though I don't usually like fringe. I would totally wear them, if it weren't for the ridiculous price...

I'd have to see what it looks like on the foot.. sometimes an ugly shoe can look really good on.

I have a rule not to wear shoes with fringes long enough to compete with my big toe hair. Hobbits of the world unite! ;) (The winky face is the only one I can remember how to do.)
