Pretty Little Costumes: Halloween Looks Inspired by the Show's Spookiest Episodes
While that sneak peek of the Pretty Little Liars Christmas special has us superexcited for things to come, we're going to be honest here: we'll miss seeing the girls — and the creepy, masked villains — in their Halloween getups. Whether in a flashback, a train party, or last year's Founder's Day soiree, all of the costumes from years past are pretty A-mazing. (Sorry, we had to throw that in there somewhere.) So if you're looking to take your Pretty Little Liars costume to the next level, we rounded up a few of our favorites and re-created them for ourselves. Keep reading to shop some of the characters' killer looks. We may not know who A is, but we do know good inspiration when we see it.
Hanna's Britney Spears Costume
While all of the costumes pictured in this flashback episode are great (oh hey, Spencer), we're loving Hefty Hanna's take on Britney Spears. It's so . . . Hanna, not to mention quick to re-create.
Ali's Lady Gaga
Ali is looking fierce that night — even if Jenna ends up coming as "Lady G" too. All you need is an LBD, a moto jacket, and some sky-high booties. Just add a Gaga-type wig, and you're good to go.
Jenna's Lady Gaga
Who but Jenna would be daring enough to venture out of the house in this red bodysuit? If you're up for the challenge, we've got the makings below.
Mona's Catwoman
We understand Mona was supposed to be "nerdy," but how did no one know it was her? Give a girl some cat ears, and she'll fool the world.
Aria's Masked Lady
OK, this isn't technically a Halloween costume (she wears this to a masquerade ball), but it's still a good costume nonetheless.
Emily's Barbarella
Oh, Shay Mitchell. You're flawless.
Aria's Daisy Buchanan
We're pretty sure Aria would've had all of this stuff in her closet already, but if you don't, here's what you need to re-create the look:
Hanna's Marilyn Monroe
White dress, white shoes, and a run-in with a creepy double-masked person — done.
Spencer's 1940s Noir
Sorry, Spencer's boyfriend Toby (the lovable Keegan Allen) is not included.
Spencer and Emily's Cowgirls
Also not from a Halloween episode, but if you've got a pair of overalls, a plaid shirt, and a hat, you're set!
Aria's Gothic-Inspired Founder
Classic Aria — she pairs the strangest pieces together and it just works.
