Pretty Pink Chocolates
We've told you about adorable pink jewelry, makeup, and t-shirts you can buy to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But isn't it chocolate that you're really craving? Thankfully, stalwart Midwestern candy maker Fannie May is offering pink-hued versions of its best-selling chocolates, including the luscious Mint Meltaways, available for $18.99 here and Pink Pixies, a caramel and pecan confection sold here for $19.99.
Throughout the month of October, Fannie May will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from these candies to various breast-cancer care centers, and each of its donations will be matched by a grant from the Coleman Foundation. This year, Fannie May hopes to raise at least $100,000, surpassing last year's sum of $85,000.
