Which Project Runway Famous Locale Look Is Most Fab?

The remaining seven Project Runway designers are asked to create an outfit inspired by a famous locale. Greece, St. Tropez, Aspen, Hollywood, New York City, and Santa Fe are the choices. Create a look that certainly embodies who you are as a designer, but also embraces that locale," Tim Gunn advises. The three who do precisely that were Irina (left), Gordana (center), and Althea (right). Seeing as Irina is experienced in outerwear, having Aspen gives her an edge, and she wins. Gordana's airy gray dress is inspired by NYC, while Althea's is so St. Tropez. All three are impressive, but which is most Fab?

i seriously have issues with Irina. i think she's a great designer, but all she does is talk about how great she is and how bad everyone else is. that's not cool. my favorite look of these three was althea's, but i liked them all. i think all three of them are talented designers. but omg does anyone else think christopher should have gone home a while ago?! i can't believe he didn't go home this week!

Nicolas was my favorite. Most of his white creations were fantastic in my opinion. Too bad he got auf'ed. Ramon got booted too early. Some of the more daring designers (Malvin, Ari) basically got axed too soon and we are left with safer designers (Gordana, Irina). And by "safer" I meant cowl necks and tired silhouettes.

I think this season is so uncompelling. I don't find myself rooting for any of these designers. Sure, they seem nice. Althea and Carol Hannah seem fun. But I don't remember anything they have done from week to week. They don't hold a candle to past seasons.

I liked where Irina was going with it but the colors were meh and it wasnt terribly original; but it did suit the theme. i didnt think gordana was that great at all; the dress seemed to fit the model strangely and i didnt think it was very new york park avenue posh. i liked althea's a lot - she was very confident about designing after st tropez and it shows that she knew what she was doing, even though the outmost layer could have been less flimsy looking, it looks smooth and decadent and resorty.

I liked Carol Hannah great...yes it was very Uli-esque but I loved her details. I didn't like Althea's at all. It was a weird looking shirt. And I just don't like Irina as a person!

Irina should not have won due to making a sweater with a cowl neck. A cowl neck! Gordana's or Carol Hannah's dress and Althea's outfit would have been much better options for the winning outfit.

I'm not a fan of Irina because of her self-loving attitude, but I have to admit, of these 3 hers is best. I'm hoping Carol Hannah wins the whole thing, though! She's terrific.
