Project Runway season nine debuts Thursday, July 28th — are you excited? We are. To get you off to a good start this season, we're introducing you to the 20 lucky contestants complete with designer bios and kooky quirks. Our quick breakdown shows that about 90 percent of the designers named Alexander McQueen as their favorite designer, two of them were former hair stylists, and one even used to be a beauty pageant queen.
