What has your makeup done for you lately? That's the question Tarte is asking with its new QVC-only kit. Inside this pretty box, you'll find six beauty staples. They usually go for $160, but this collection is $49. We're loving the Maracuja Miracle 12-Hour Foundation. One of five shades, from fair to deep, go on smoothly, providing excellent coverage without smothering skin. An accompanying bamboo brush is included for soft and easy application, too. A Lipsurgence lip crayon (a bubblegum pink) and an eyeshadow/liner duo (a plum/brown color) look young and trendy when paired but chic and natural on their own. If the whole kit and caboodle sounds like a deal to you, then move like lightning, because the kit is available only on July 13. A portion of the proceeds will go to Sustainable Amazon Partnership, which helps build schools for indigenous children of the Amazon. That's just one reason that, unlike other so-called "deals," Tarte's box won't leave a sour taste in your mouth.
If Nicole Richie's Winter Kate collection is a little out of your price range, we suggest you save the date for the debut of her QVC collection, set to release Feb. 24. Check out photos from the collection, highlighting an array of Richie's signature bohemian style via maxi dresses, kimono jackets, and fringe-embellished hobo bags. “I want to connect with the women watching by letting them know that we are similar in many ways; I’m a mother of two and I work," said Richie. "We all want to feel relaxed on the inside but stylish on the outside. And that’s what I’m trying to provide.” Check out more looks from the affordable line now — prices range from $75 to $257 — then tell us what you think in the comments section below.

Rachel Zoe launches her spring 2010 collection for QVC this week, and no piece is over $200. Some of Zoe's favorites — which she shares with FabTV in the video above — include a leopard tuxedo jacket (that she layers under a matching trench coat), zipper-covered biker jackets (available in tan, black, and gray), a classic "every girl needs one" black blazer, and colorful spring scarves in peacock prints. Our pick? The update to fall's faux fur vest — a lighter-weight version with a satin back in dove gray and off-white.
