Rachel Zoe Interview at Derek Lam

Hi, it's Allison McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash at New York Fashion Week. Rachel Zoe was sitting front row at the Derek Lam runway after showing her her own collection just days ago and she told us her love of the designer du Jour. Well, I love Derek first and foremost because he happens to be a wonderful human being. He's a wonderful person. He's a dear friend. I love him. You know why because he really makes incredibly, wearable clothes. He makes beautiful, wearable clothes that, whenever he does his show, I'm looking saying, "I want that, I want that, I wanna wear that right now. I'm going to wear that tonight." And I think, for me, that's always something, you know, I look for when I'm at shows. I just think that I you really love and you want to cuddle. Here at New York Fashion Week, it's really cold outside, and Rachel emphasized the importance of having stylish outer wear. I think you grab a great coat. That's always my advice. Grab a great coat, because it'll cover whatever you're wearing underneath. You can wear a really bad outfit underneath, but a great coat and you're good to go. And Rachel's tip for looking stylish on the go? A chic updo. I think you can always do a messy bun and a red lip. Keep tuning in for all of our New York Fashion Week coverage.
