Crowning the red carpet queen of the year is never an easy feat. But this year's candidates are all especially well-dressed. Eva Mendes is a sultry goddess in Calvin Klein's ads, but she's more subdued and ladylike on the red carpet. Newcomer Evan Rachel Wood continually dazzles us in her rich frocks and ginger locks. Zoe Saldana has shown the world her sexy and futuristic powers. Diane Kruger always keeps it fresh, always impeccable. And Leighton Meester broke out her red carpet chops this year and boy did she wow. Who's it gonna be?

Diane by far!! Though you didn't have some of my other favorites like Charlize Theron and Penelope Cruz. These other choices suck. Diane is the best!

Diane is one of the most stylish women at the moment, though I didn't really care for that Marchesa outfit you posted.Leighton had a great year. I loved her Bottega Veneta gown.

Definitely Diane. I agree her red carpet appearances for Inglorious Basterds were such a highlight in fashion this year--all so lovely and amazing. I really liked the Christopher Kane dress and YSL Divine ankle boots but was truly in love with just about every outfit she wore at Cannes.
