Reed Krakoff Fall 2013

Reed Krakoff Review | Fashion Week Fall 2013

Reed Krakoff's middle name might as well be polish. For Fall 2013, the designer showed a well-put-together collection of mainly monochromatic looks that had a definite ease about them, while still maintaining a certain smartness. If his Pre-Fall 2013 collection was all about athletic and military uniforms, Fall turned to the kinds of personal uniforms women adopt every day. A sleeveless forest green sweater looked cozy on top of a shiny skirt in the same color, and so did a practical blue coat paired with blue trousers and a blue tunic.

Krakoff showed just as much of an affinity for monochrome looks as he did for textures, showing crocodile print shirts and skirts, and using snakeskin to accent a white dress.
