Rock & Republic has just released a new line for Fall, Plain Wrap, which has a lower price point β $35 to $198 β than its main collection. Each item (hoodies, jeans, leggings) is emblazoned with its name in capital letters. Case in point: this Plain Wrap Stiletto. "This is a new initiative with a new perspective for the consumer that wants fashionable basics with staying power,β said Michael Ball, founder and creative director of the company. Do you agree? Does this concept have staying power or is it lame?

All things meta are fun to me:-)
1Why the heck would you want to wear heels that say stiletto on the side?! It reminds me of all the Target GO International collections where the designers feel the need to advertise "FOR TARGET" all over for everyone to see... nobody wants that displayed on their clothing/accessories. No thanks.
2if they removed the stiletto it would be nice
3the words just make it so tacky
4this totally reminds me of that old gary larson the far side cartoon where the guy has painted "pants" on his pants, "dog" on his dog, "door" on his door etc., and the caption is, "This should clear things up around here"
5There is nothing special about the shoe to begin with and putting the campy letters on it just makes it worse. The thing is, they're not even placed in a clever way, it looks like I went to Home Depot and did it myself.
6i would so ROCK these !
7Dreadful! The shoe itself isn't too bad, but I don't understand the idea of plastering 'Stiletto' across your shoe? We know it's a stiletto!
8The shoe is actually nice without the huge white letters. If you want to make "fashionable basics with staying power," then do some fashionable basics that are worth staying around!
9I'm (sort of) torn on this one. I think it looks silly on the shoe, but I was thisclose to buying the "T-SHIRT" in black from Nordy this weekend lol.
It's super tacky on the shoes.
10Hmm this is a very difficult choice. While I love this plain stiletto with its metal heel, I hate the white letters on the side that SCREAMS what it is. However, I think those who love the true style and spunk of the brand Rock & Republic would love this! It is kind of after all, a little rebellious.

where would someone wear these?
12It's not the fact that it says stiletto on it that bothers me so much, but the actual design of the word and how it clashes entirely with the shoe.
13funny, but i would never wear in public. can't even imagine a rocker outfit that would compliment them
14omg i love it the people that dont like it are prob not able to pull it off but imo the are awesome
15i don't understand what's so tacky bout it. i would love to wear these on a casual occasion like Autrina Padrage has. It's a new pair of shoes that would catch attention!
