SAG Awards Red Carpet: Strapless & Belted

Belts have been around for several seasons now, and it was interesting to see them surface on the SAG Awards Red Carpet. I clearly remember the black belt from Cameron's Golden Globes Valentino gown, and while hers was one shouldered, the belted dresses last night were all strapless. When this look is short, it is rather 80s, especially Sara Ramirez's turquoise party dress. When this look is long, it can be very elegant and sophisticated, case in point: Kim Raver's Kevan Hall pleated gown.

This was the best I've seen Julia look in a long time. The color was great on her. And I still think I've seen Sara Ramirez wear something really similar in the past.

Something seems off to me about Kim Raver. Can't quite figure out what, though. Sara is HOT. I love the color on her. Don't like Heather's dress. Julia looks nice. The nude lip is really in. A lot of women went nude.

I think the top of Sara's dress is awesome, but I wish the bottom was either straight or an a-line. She does not need draping on the bottom. BaltimoreGal
