I definitley would give them a try - just carry them well. Maybe a solid color dolmon sleeve top, with cowl neck and a pair of bold color ankle boots. I have a black, dolmon sleeve sweater with cowl neckline and about a 4' band bottom. Big bag a must. Thanks for your reply!

@elissasangi Wise styling words, thank you! I think I'm still going to give the printed jean trend a go because it's so Spring-perfect and colorful — it's really a matter of which pattern I'm going to go for now ;) But I totally agree with you, too. It's all about great tailoring and dressing for your body type.

Don't try to pull them or anything off. You either carry it or you don't. You can wear one thing one day and not be able to carry it the next day. At 55, I've been there done that. There is nothing new under the sun. There's lots of great stuff out there, but if I can't carry it well, I won't do it. I was wearing sear sucker suits made by my Grandmother for my mother. That's how perfectly they were hand sewn - hand stitched button holes, the whole nine. Hook any of these up with classic tailoring and you've got a shoe in. Classic and funky. Right colors , right textures and don't squeeze into them with flab roles. If you have to wear an over blouse or sweater, then do that. Look firm. It's the armour underneat that will really perfect your look.
