Shopping For Summer Shorts

Call it what you will — a tap pant, bloomers, boy shorts — these shrunken, very sexy versions of the Summer short are here for Summer. When we saw it on the Spring runways of Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc, then Chanel, we wondered if that was something that would ever be seen in real life. Enter Poppy Delevigne, albeit a gorgeous model, but just go with it, wearing one of Chanel's unbelievably charming tap pant suits with a pair of flats. We think there should be a few rules for real-life-tap-pant wearing. Because they're so sexy, they should be paired with more modest items, like a billowy top (the proportions will look great) and always flat shoes or sandals.
