Those us who have ever lived in a snowy or rainy city know there's nothing more annoying than wet pant cuffs. Since we can't constantly lug around heavy boots in our bags, having Cityclips Pant Protectors handy is a smarter alternative.

You can buy the plain style ($8) or ones with all kinds of fancy buttons ($35). Get step-by-step instructions on the site, but basically it uses strong magnets surrounded by fabric that acts as a sling. I think these are so cool - definitely a much more stylish alternative to safety pins or cuffing. I don't really have this proble, though, as I love in L.A. if it is actually cold, I wear boots...

I always just end up folding things up when I'm outside, then letting the fold loose when I get in the door. But these clips look like they'd do the job well...I'd just end up losing one, or putting them in my backpack and totally wiping my cards, flash drive, etc!

Brilliant! This will help all of my fraying hems. I don't always want to wear heels and wedges, and I ruin all of my pants when I wear flats. I do NOT sew, so I will buy, buy, buy!

I think these are great. I've tried several things to hold up my pants, but to no avail. Either they are too heavy and fall or rip from pins. I'm definitely going to order some. Cute designs too!

genius! love them! i need these for my nyc walk to work. every time it snows or rains my too-long pant cuffs get soaked. i show up to work looking like a hot mess. buying these right now. great post!

haha i have this problem all the time, and i started using binder clips to clip up my pants! not nearly as stylish but very cheap and plentiful in an office environment lol :)

I love clever stuff like this. A few years ago I go tired of my pants getting stuck under my heel when I wore wedges or slingbacks or any kind of open-back shoes, so I took old keys (am I the only one with a big bucket of extra mystery keys at home?) and sewed them to the hem of my pants to weight them down so they'd hang straight and not get eaten by my heels anymore.

i've seen this somewhere before and i thought they were brilliant! yes they are easy to mak ei'm sure- but for those of us who are lazy and not good with a needle and thread (aka me) i'd totally consider buying these!
