Simply Fab: Invisible Earlobe Tape

I have delicate thin earlobes so wearing heavy earrings is always a problem for me. For the sake of fashion, I do wear them on occasion, but by the end of the night, my ears are sore. I'm sure many of you can relate -it's not a good feeling.

That's why I was thrilled to come across EarLifts Invisible Earlobe Support Tape, $14. As you can see in the photo, it protects sensitive earlobes by taking the weight off your earring hole. Simply peel and paste the invisible, hypoallergenic adhesive behind your earlobe. It will reduce the appearance of droopy earlobes and will prevent future stretching. I don't know about you, but my ears are ringing with excitement!

gah I think its best to keep away from heavy earrings...I don't wanna end up buddha ears when I'm 70!! altho this tape might do miracles..?

I just don't get how it would work. Somehow my ears don't get like that and I had them gauged (you know, when people stretch their ear by wearing those big round earings...yeah I was kind of a alternative chick back then) for over a year when I was in high school and I took them out cuz I got sick of it and it was only a matter of time until they went back to their original small holes.

The pictures of the stretched earlobes are aweful... I would think if your earrings did that you'd stop wearing them. I do have a very heavy pair of of dangly gypsy-ish earrings that make my earlobes hurt if I wear them for too long- but I take them out! Maybe I should get some tape and see if it helps...

This is why I'm glad to have chubby earlobes. My mom on the other hand, does not. I think she used an extra large backing on her earrings-the kind that come with a round plastic disk. But geez-that first picture is just freaky!

I never had this problem, I also never wore heavy earrings. My friend had to have an operation because she was wearing a pair of heavy earrings and her friend's little brother, who was about 2 years old at the time, grabbed her by the earrings and yanked them off...ripping her holes. It was horrible!!! Yikes :(

I saw this the other day but was scared to waste money on it and it not work. I have really thin and stretched out ears and it's not from heavy earrings. I have to buy the kids earrings and it has to be a small shape or it rips my ear.
