Simply Fab: Sheer Tight Two-For-One

Opaque tights have had a good run, but on many Spring and Fall runways we witnessed sheer tights. The new crop of sheer tights, like these Urban Outfitters Sheer Tights ($12, or two for $20), are totally fresh and laudable in fashion circles. They come in six different colors; the stone and dusty rouge hues will give the illusion you're not wearing any tights. These sheer hose will still keep your legs warm, while giving them a bit of metallic shine. These couldn't have come at a better time, considering seasonless dressing is on the horizon and Fall is around the corner.

The concept of "seasonless dressing" makes me crack up, but that's probably because I live on Lake Michigan. If you're going to wear the same thing in January that you wear in June around here, your immune system had better be Viking strength. And yeah, the term "sheer tights" is a load of poop. Dem's pantyhose, sports fans.

I'm sticking to my opaque merino wool tights when it gets cold. Before then there's really no need for tights. Aren't sheer tights just pantyhose under a different alias?
