Spring 2011 London Fashion Week: Matthew Williamson

Matthew Williamson's luxe take on prints is always sexy, always bright. For Spring '11, cuts are femininely tailored, the details are embellished and bold: a fringe-finished mini, intricate crochet necklines on corset tops, sultry cutouts, and sequined shoulders. All the looks are sexy, but still subtle — animal prints are muted, revealing cutouts are unexpectedly executed, and brights are tamed by simpler silhouettes. The result? Complicated-cool, but not over the top; playful, fun, and totally wearable — the best of all worlds.
