Street-Style Trends of Summer 2012

While there are plenty of ways to turn heads via strategic styling, this Summer's greatest statement came courtesy of powerful color palettes. Instead of playing it safe with a cool pantsuit, one fashionista wore the look in the loudest shade of orange. While a sweet cropped ensemble works just fine, Shala Monroque mixed it up with cool pastels (see at middle left). And if you thought stripes were dynamic, take cues from this styler's cobalt-blue trousers, which stole the show. For these ladies, it was about how bold they could go, and you're about to reap the benefits of their colorful endeavors.
