A Stroke of Genius: The Simpsons in Bazaar
As you all know by now: I love a fashion surprise. Thank you Harper's Bazaar for conceiving something so brilliantly bizarre as this spread in the August issue with the all-American family soon to be on the silver screen, The Simpsons. Illustrated by The Simpsons layout artist, Julius Preite, these fun-filled pages feature the cast in collections and designers from the Fall RTW collections with a special cameo from my favorite all-time supermodel - guess who?!
My favorite bits include the ladies lounging in sultry Versace, Marge's hats, and the ever-bazaar Viktor & Rolf. What do you think? Brilliant? Bizarre? Or, brilliantly bizarre?
