We first "met" Lily Collins when she began promoting Mirror Mirror, and we fell in love with the dramatic ball gowns, fishtail hems, and Snow White-inspired costumes she took to wearing all award season long. But it seems the 23-year-old starlet has turned a new (style) leaf. She's set to star as Clary Fray, the heroine of the New York Times bestselling novel The Mortal Instruments, in its film adaptation in August. We have a feeling she's starting to embody some of her character's fiery attitude via her recent ensemble choices. From body-conscious shapes to edgy ear cuffs to striking, berry-hued lipstick, Lily is channeling something a little moodier than before, and we're loving every minute of it. Here's hoping she continues to take fashion risks with designs from her favorites, Rodarte and Alexander McQueen.
