Hi there. It's Allison McNamara. Thanks for tuning back in to FabSugar TV. Summer sundresses are a must. If you want one that you can wear from day to night. So we picked out our five favorites and they're all under $100. A little white dress is a wardrobe mess, and finding one with texture really adds intrigue.
This one is from NastyGal.com, a website that I love, and it's by a brand called Freeway. First off, its got sheer sleeves within a fully lined bodice. So important when finding a white dress. You don't want to see anything underneath. This one has a vintage inspired look, it's got this white ivory crochet detailing, got these diamonds throughout, a little bit of a Chevron print.
It also comes with this vegan leather belt that cinches in your waist and gives you some shape. Perfect for a night out. This next dress is one of the biggest dress trends right now, a fit and flare. What that means is fitted through the top and then loose at the bottom. Got a nice fuller skirt. This one's from TopShop, the print is really fun, it's black and white retro daisy print against a bright red backdrop.
This color will look great on so many different skin types, whether you're fair like me or you've got some color, and I like that it's got capped sleeves. A dress with capped sleeves always protects your arms, makes you feel just a little bit more comfortable. And again, the skater flippy skirt, great for the summer time.
You can twirl around in it. And I like that you can wear it for day, with a pair of sandals, or for night with some booties and a blazer. Stripes are something that will never go out of style and we love a sporty striped pink dress. This one's really easy to throw on by the pool. It's really effortless and breezy, with a pair of black sandals, it looks really casual and perfect for the daytime.
This one actually by a brand call Splendid, and if you're not familiar with that brand, they're made from the softest material. The brand actually started as a quest to find the ultimate t-shirt and now they have a full line of luxury items, from tops to dresses. This next dress just makes me happy looking at it because of the color.
This bright cheery yellow dress from NastyGal.com by a brand called Lush. It's a chiffon wrap dress so it's very silky and floaty and flirty. I love the deep plunging neckline. It is a little sexy, so if you feel uncomfortable, you can always wear a black bandeau underneath, but you can also let it take center stage and really just show it off.
It also has a stretchy waist band that cinches in the waist and gives you some shape. A maxi dress is something every girl should have in their arsenal and we like this denim maxi dress from Quicksilver. It's strapless so it lends the perfect backdrop for a statement necklace, and it it's empire waisted, which can be really flattering on lots of different body types.
You can even belt it right here if you want. On bottom, it's got this large ruffle hem which lends a girly touch. And you can layer on a fitted a cardigan or a shawl to dress it up. I love a good sundress, so it's hard for me to pick just one, but if I had to choose a favorite, I think I'd go with this yellow printed version.
