Bikinis heat up South Beach and Miami Swim Week. Hi, I'm Allison McNamara and you're watching FabSugar TV. Today. I'm joined by our style director, Noria Morales. Hello.

And we're gonna give you our highlights from Miami Swim Week. Miami Swim Week is a little different than other fashion weeks, it's actually more like a party, right?
Oh, completely. Number one it's held in South Beach, which is like party central. It's also not as formal. It's more like a big party. It's all about bikinis in the beach. Doesn't attract the big front row, but it's more focused on you know just having fun. The models are curvier. It's louder. They clap at the end of shows.
Overall, it's just a big celebration.
What was you favorite show at Swim Week?
Well, I think Mara Hoffman always pushes the envelope with a creative show. She did a beautiful runway show that showed her signature high impact prints and she paired it with Pamela Love jewelery for just a show that I thought was a little bit edgier.
Me too. I actually always loved Mara Hoffman and I feel like her Bohemian prints just really make me feel like it's summertime. And again, I love her jewelry, how she always collaborates with people like Pamela Love. For fall, she actually worked with All for the Mountain. So I love that she kind of brings that unique twist to it.
Do you have a favorite trend that came out Miami Swim Week?
So one of the top trends that I noticed coming out of Miami Swim Week is this big retro story. It's always been about teeny tiny bikinis and yes, those definitely exist but I think this retro story by way of corseted tops and bustier styles and high waisted bottoms is definitely one of the major things I saw coming out of Miami Swim Week.
It's all about this sort of pin-up feeling. It's very feminine and it's pretty sexy.
It's exciting to see that corseted style to the others flattering on lots of different body types.
Yeah, definitely, and I just think it's a really sophisticated look for the beach. The other big story was the big prints, obviously we saw that on Mara Hoffman. We also saw that at Got Tags and Red Carter. I think that the big prints make a big impact at the beach. And I also like how they featured it in mismatched separates so you'd have a really wildly printed bikini bottom and and a solid top.
That was actually my favorite look. I love the idea of being able to mix and match all the bikinis you already own. So else that one in particular that really caught my eye. It's like a black bandeau top, and then it felt like a very natural tye dye on bottom which I thought was just lovely. Did you have an absolute favorite look though?
That's hard. There were a lot of great bikinis that I would love to add in my closet but though Tori Praver put out a great collection she showed at the Webster and she did in particular this one gorgeous one-piece that I think totally makes you rethink a one-piece like it's not just for moms. It's really sexy.
It's got a bustier top and these little sexy cut-outs on each side. I will have that on my shopping list for next season.
