Tartan
n. Name of any numerous, distinctively colored plaid fabrics. Tartans originated in woven cloth, but are now used in many other materials. Tartan is particularly associated with Celtic countries, especially Scotland. Also known as plaid in North America, but in Scotland this word means a tartan cloth slung over the shoulder or a blanket.

I love tartan I had a kilt and a plaid when I was younger used to wear it every winter. Wish i could still fit into it.
1I love the styling on the Tylie purses. They're great.
2I love wearing kilts, but hot Scots wear 'em better
3I'm not a huge fan of kilts... Not my style.
