Given Taylor Momsen's mature and experimental sense of style, it's hard to believe she's only 15 years old. The actress loves to wear dresses, but this is the first time we're seeing her in something so elegant and fancy.

At Metropolitan Opera's 125th Season Opening Night Gala in NYC, Taylor donned a crimson strapless, pleated Marchesa number that almost blends in with the red carpet. Red is a bold statement and the silhouette adds even more drama. I'm curious to get your thoughts. Do you love it? Hate It?

She's a 15 year old American Girl and this is too much. I wouldn't have hated it on lady in her early 20's and beyond with the same styling but this is just too much!

It's a beautiful dress but it feels wrong for her, not necessarily because of her age, but something is just...off about it. Her hair and makeup feels all wrong too. She looks like Christina Aguilera, and that's not a compliment.

If her age hadn't been stated I'm sure people wouldn't be bagging her out for being 15. Despite her age she looks gorgeous. I also think her hair looks good with the dress, it gives her two focuses: The face and dress. If she had curled it it may have looked better and flowed with the dress more.

the dress is pretty and i wouldn't mind it on her minus the cleavage, it is too much. and i know she's 15 and 15 yr olds are skinny but in the other shots i saw of her from this event it is hard to deny how severely bony she is

It's insane how fast kids want to grow up. She does have a sophisticated look for a 15-year old, but her stylist should've approached her look differently. I do LOVE the dress though...and personally I love her hair...just not with the dress or the event.

I have to say I absolutely hate this style of dress. Agree with CYL: the red carpet that decided to claw itself up her legs and swallow her whole.

This is a great look for her! Yes, I agree it makes her look twice her age, but she still pulls it off well. I'm just not a huge fan of the new bangs/cut.
