Why we want it: St. Patrick's Day has never really been my holiday — for years, I would forget it was happening and beg off that my green eyes gave me permanent pinching immunity. But this adorably preppy piece makes caring about the holiday a little bit more appealing to me. Timex is donating 20 percent of proceeds from select green and gold watches to St. Baldrick's [2], an organization that I got to know after one of my close friends shaved his head in a fundraiser in honor of his son, who was diagnosed with cancer at 1 year old (he's in remission now, which continues to make me cry with happy, soppy tears whenever I think about it). So any opportunity I have to support this organization that supports so many who need it, I'll take. And not getting pinched for forgetting my green for once will be an added bonus!
