Gwyneth Gathers Her Stylish Pals to Celebrate Goop's Summer Season
Kate Hudson, Chris Martin, and Tom Ford were among the stylish attendees at Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop Summer party held at Mark's Club in London yesterday. Gwyneth wore a printed silk dress by Prabal Gurung for the fashionable fete and posed for pictures with Kate, who was clad in a white A.L.C. jumpsuit and Smythe blazer. The two friends have each been staying busy, both personally and professionally — Gwyneth's weekly Goop newsletter is in its fourth year and has expanded to include designer collaborations and the recent launch of city guide apps. She also hit the red carpet for the Met Gala, celebrated big success with the blockbuster release of Iron Man 3, and gave us some laughs with her most over-the-top recent quotes. Kate, meanwhile, is diving into new projects after it was announced that she'll be joining the cast of Zach Braff's upcoming film, the Kickstarter-financed Wish I Was Here.
Both Gwyneth and Kate are in the running for the 2013 POPSUGAR 100 crown — and it's up to you to decide who will take it home. Head on over now to pick your favorite celebrity of the year, and you could be entered to win a gorgeous Victoria Beckham handbag!

Jennifer and Joan Do the Covered-Up Sexy Thing — but Who Got It Right?
Who knew full coverage could be so sexy? While some of last night's Met Gala attendees opted for microminis and dangerously low necklines, Jennifer Lopez and model Joan Smalls went a different route, both swapping short and sweet for sheer, long, and seriously rocker chic. Joan arrived on the arm of Tom Ford in a black lace gown from the designer's Fall 2013 collection — an ornate creation that left little to the imagination — which she accessorized with a single gold razor blade earring. Jennifer Lopez brought along not one, but two handsome escorts: her boyfriend, Casper Smart, as well as her designer date, Michael Kors. Jennifer's gown boasted a revealing back cutout and sequined giraffe print, and perfectly complemented her famous curves. It's clear that both Jennifer and Joan got the long-sleeved, sheer-gown memo — but which of them got it right?

Video: Tom Ford's Most Punk Moment? "I Can't Tell You!"
Tom Ford had model Joan Smalls on his arm last night on their way into the Punk: Chaos to Couture Met Gala in NYC. Not one to have dressed punk himself, Tom talked about the trend and how it inspired him — or didn't — when it came to creating a look for Joan. And as for Tom's own edgy phase, he wasn't giving much away. He did, however, reveal his most ingenious use of a safety pin.

Stars Hit the Met in the Sultriest Black Sheer Gowns — Which Look Wins?
Thanks to their black, sheer, and lacy gowns, this style set may have just had some of the sultriest looks to hit the Met Gala staircase. Joan Smalls perfected her supermodel smolder in a body-conscious embroidered Tom Ford gown — proof that covered up doesn't have to be conservative. Alexa Chung embraced the Gala's subversive theme and channeled her sexier side with a sheer-inset Erdem look, as did Allison Williams, who delivered a more provocative look than we're used to, wearing a black Altuzarra gown. Adding to the list of attendees who ditched their usual "good girl" persona, Anne Hathaway showed off a dramatic vintage Valentino gown, made all the more striking with see-through fabric and a high-shine finish. Now it's time to weigh in — which of the starlets' sheer gowns gets your vote?

Time 100 Gala: Who Wore What
The annual Time 100 Gala inspired another round of red carpet glamour, with Jessica Biel and Olivia Munn leading the star-studded pack. And what better occasion to dress to the nines than in honor of some of the world's most influential people? With Biel in black, head-to-toe Tom Ford, Munn in bright canary-yellow Michael Kors, and Claire Danes in a more exotic Lanvin look, the night played host to a spectrum of black-tie ensembles. Lena Dunham wore a shimmery number from Saint Laurent's much-discussed Saint Laurent Fall '13 collection and Christina Aguilera went the siren route in formfitting Victoria Beckham.
